3R Days 27.02. – 28.02.2019 Graz
This biennial event serves as a discussion platform and information hub on current developments in the application of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) in everyday life and their further development. The programme is aimed at colleagues who work with 3Rs on a daily basis or are interested in the 3Rs concept, members of Austrian animal protection bodies and laboratory veterinarians.

3rd Workshop of Animal Welfare Committees 27.02.2019 Graz
The workshop focused on the implementation of the working paper on the training of persons involved in animal experimentation. The idea of introducing a competence passport, which should serve as a proof of theoretical and practical basic knowledge as well as of acquired special knowledge, was presented.
